Frequently Asked Questions(FAQs)
Why does honey sometimes look like it hard?
All natural honey will eventually “crystallize”- Nature’s way of preserving honey. Do not throw it away- just place the container in a bowl of hot water; stir every few minutes. Repeat until the honey becomes liquid again.
Does honey have an expiration date?
Honey stored in sealed containers can remain stable for decades and even centuries! However, honey is susceptible to physical and chemical changes during storage; it tends to darken and lose its aroma and flavor or crystallize.
Can an infant eat honey?
There are some bacteria present in honey that can produce toxins in a baby’s intestines, leading to infant botulism, which is a very serious illness. So avoiding it until the child is over 1year old will be better
